Crachmeters are used in friction color fastness tests of textile products . In this test, the color change and staining rate of the accompanying fabric (usually cotton) resulting from the friction of the sample against another accompanying fabric are evaluated.

During the test, an undyed, cotton companion fabric is rubbed dry against the sample. The amount of color transfer from the companion fabric after rubbing is measured using a staining gray scale .

The device;

  • Electronically controlled, motorized model

  • It is available in two different versions, including a manual model .
